      Title: Chocolate Surprise Cookies
 Categories: Cookies
      Yield: 12 Servings
 
    1/2 c  Margarine
    3/4 c  Sugar
      1    Egg
      3 tb Cocoa
  1 3/4 c  Flour
    1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2 c  Milk
      1 ts Vanilla
    1/2 c  Walnuts; chopped
      6 oz Peanut butter chips
 
  Cream margarine and sugar.

  Beat in egg and cocoa.

  Sift dry ingredients together and add chocolate mixture
  alternately with milk, mix well.

  Stir in vanilla, nuts and chips.

  Drop 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

  Bake in 400°F oven for 8 to 10 minutes.

  Frost with icing if desired.
