                           Butterscotch Chewies

     1/2  c             Margarine
   1 1/2  c             Brown sugar
   2                    Eggs
   1      ts            Vanilla
   1 1/2  c             Flour
   2      ts            Baking powder

Melt margarine. Add sugar, boil (stirring). Cool. Drop in eggs and
mix. Add vanilla and flour. Pour into 9x9" baking pan. Bake at 350°F
for 30 minutes.
