MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Brown Sugar Icebox Cookies
 Categories: Cookies, Snacks, Desserts, Nuts
      Yield: 42 servings

    1/2 c  Butter; softened
      1 c  Brown sugar; packed
      1 lg Egg
      1 ts Vanilla extract
  1 3/4 c  A-P flour
    1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/4 ts Salt
    2/3 c  Pecans; chopped

  In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg
  and vanilla; mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda
  and salt; gradually add to cream mixture. Fold in pecans
  or coconut (dough will be sticky). Shape into 2 rolls.
  Cover each and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

  Uncover and cut into 1/4" slices. Place 2" apart on
  ungreased baking sheets. Bake @ 375°F/190°C for 7 to 10
  minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks.
