MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Chocolate Crinkle Cookies Categories: Cookies, Snacks, Chocolate Yield: 42 servings 2 c Semisweet chocolate chips; - divided 2 tb Butter; softened 1 c Sugar 2 lg Egg whites; room temperature 1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract 1 1/2 c All-purpose flour 1 1/2 ts Baking powder 1/4 ts Salt 1/4 c Water 1/2 c Confectioners' sugar In a microwave, melt 1 cup chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Beat butter and sugar until crumbly, about 2 minutes. Add egg whites and vanilla; beat well. Stir in melted chocolate. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to butter mixture alternately with water. Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Refrigerate, covered, until easy to handle, about 2 hours. Set oven @ 350°F/175°C. Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Place 2" apart on baking sheets coated with cooking spray.
