                          Pumpkin Spice Cookies

   2 1/2  cups          flour
     1/2  teaspoon      baking soda
     1/4  teaspoon      salt
   2      teaspoons     pumpkin pie spice
   1      cup           brown sugar
     1/2  cup           sugar
     3/4  cup           butter
   1                    egg
   1      cup           pumpkin
   1      teaspoon      vanilla
   1      cup           raisins
     1/2  cup           walnuts -- chopped

Preheat oven to 300°
Blend sugars and butter. Add egg, pumpkin and extract,
 mix in dry ingredients, stir in nuts and raisins. Drop by spoonfuls 
on baking dish, bake for 23 minutes.
