* Exported from MasterCook * Cantalope Cream Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 3/4 c Vanilla wafer crumbs (40) 1/2 c Butter -- melted 5 oz Box vanilla pudding 2 1/2 c Milk 1 sm Cantalope 1 c Heavy cream Preheat oven to 375°F. In a 10" pie plate, combune vanilla-wafer crumbs & melted butter. Press mixture into pie plate & make a slight edge. Bake crust for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned; cool on rack. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, prepare pudding mix as label directs but use only 2-1/2 cups milk; set aside. Drain cantaloupe pieces well on paper towels; stir chunks into pudding mixture. Cover surface of pudding mixture with plastic wrap & refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set. Whip cream & fold into pudding mixture, spoon into crust. Refrigerate until set.
