MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls Categories: Five, Fruits, Dairy, Breads Yield: 5 Servings 17 1/2 oz Tube canned cinnamon rolls - with icing 1/3 c Apple butter 1/2 c Heavy cream 1 ts Apple pie spice Set the oven @ 350°F/175°C. Open the can of cinnamon rolls as directed. Then, carefully unroll the dough on a clean surface and spread the apple butter over the top in an even layer. Gently roll the dough back up and then separate along the perforated lines. Arrange the rolls in an ungreased, 9" round baking pan. Tip: If you're having trouble separating the dough after rerolling it, use a knife to slice cleanly through the dough. You can also try using dental floss, one of our favorite cinnamon roll-making tips. Pour the heavy cream over and around the cinnamon rolls, then bake according to the cinnamon roll package directions (usually 15 to 20 minutes). Meanwhile, mix the apple pie spice into the cinnamon roll icing. Set aside. Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes in the pan. To finish, drizzle the apple pie-spiced icing over the warm cinnamon rolls, then serve immediately. Enjoy! Next, learn how to make apple pie with cheese. Tip: We know waiting is hard. Especially when it looks and smells this good. Trust us, waiting a couple minutes for the freshly baked cinnamon rolls to cool is worth it. The wait ensures they're at the perfect temperature for spreading the icing. Any sooner, and the icing will melt and slide off the rolls into a sad puddle.
