MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole Categories: Breads, Dairy, Spices, Cheese Yield: 12 Servings 35 oz Large refrigerated cinnamon - rolls with cream cheese - icing (2 cans) 10 tb Unsalted butter; melted, - divided 4 lg Eggs; room temperature 1/2 c Heavy whipping cream 2 ts Vanilla extract 1 ts Ground cinnamon 1 1/4 c A-P flour 1/2 c Brown sugar; packed 1/4 c Sugar 1/2 ts Salt 2 tb Maple syrup Set oven @ 375°F/190°C. Set aside the cinnamon roll icing from the packaged dough. Cut prepared cinnamon roll dough into quarters. Brush 4 tb melted butter onto the bottom and sides of a 13x9" baking dish. Add the cinnamon roll dough pieces. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, heavy cream, vanilla, and cinnamon together. Pour evenly over the cinnamon roll dough pieces. In a small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, sugar, salt, and remaining 6 tb butter. Gently mix until dry ingredients are moist and clump into large pieces. Evenly crumble streusel over the top of the casserole, then drizzle with 2 tb maple syrup. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until cinnamon roll pieces are fully baked, eggs are set, and the streusel topping is lightly golden. Remove promptly; let cool 15 to 20 minutes. Drizzle the top of the casserole with reserved cinnamon roll icing; cut into squares. Serve warm.
