Maple Syrup Fudge 1 c Maple syrup 1/2 c Light cream 2 c Sugar 2 tb Butter 1 c Walnuts; broken Combine all ingredients except the nuts in a saucepan. Stir over heat until the sugar is dissolved. Boil gently, without stirring, to 238°F or to the soft ball stage. Cool to lukewarm; beat until the color changes and the candy begins to set. Stir in the broken nuts; turn into a buttered pan; mark in squares when firm.
