* Exported from MasterCook II * Apple Blueberry Crisp Recipe By : Food by Susan Powter Serving Size : 5 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Fruit Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Filling: 5 md Granny Smith apple -- peeled, - sliced 1 tb Lemon juice 1 ts Ground cinnamon 1/4 c Sugar 1 c Frozen blueberries Topping: 1 c Rolled oats 1/3 c Unbleached flour 1/4 c Brown sugar 4 ts Canola oil 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon 1 tb Orange juice Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray 9-1/2 x 11" baking dish with Pam. Mix sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Press into baking dish and sprinkle frozen blueberries on top. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over blueberry mixture. Bake for 30 minutes, untils crumbs look lightly browned. Test apples with a fork for tenderness. Enjoy warm or at room temperature. Notes: The original recipe calls for 4 apples and indicated 9 servings. I use 5 apples and get 4 to 5 servings. I usually bake it covered in a glass casserole rather than the 9x11".
