MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Mango Rice Categories: Indian, Rice Yield: 4 Servings 2 c Cooked rice 1 c Coconut; grated 1/2 c Green mango; grated 1 ts Black mustard seeds 1/4 ts Asafoetida powder 1 ts Turmeric 1/2 Serrano; chopped 2 ts Salt 1 ts Split moong dal 1 ts Black dal 2 tb Ghee Soak the dals in water for 30 minutes; drain and dry. Grind the mango, mustard, asafoetida, turmeric, and serrano in an electric grinder. Heat ghee in a large pan and sauté dried dals. Add rice, salt, and ground mango mixture. Mix well.
