MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Acorn Squash With Scalloped Onions Categories: Squash Yield: 2 Servings 1 md Acorn squash; cut in half - lengthwise Salt 1 c Onion; chopped 2 tb Margarine 1 tb Flour 1/2 c Milk Nutmeg; to taste Remove seeds from squash halves and place cut side down on cookie sheet. Bake in 350°F oven for 45 minutes. With fork loosen pulp a little and salt well. Cook chopped onion in boiling salted water until tender; drain. In saucepan melt margarine, stir in flour and gradually add milk until thickened. Combine with onion and pour into squash halves. Sprinkle on nutmeg and return to oven for 15 minutes.
