                         Cinnamon Nut Coffee Cake

     1/4   lb           Butter or crisco
   1       c            Sugar
   2                    Eggs
   2       c            Flour
   1       ts           Baking powder
   1       ts           Baking soda
   1       ts           Salt
   1       c            Sour milk or buttermilk
   1       ts           Almond extract
                        Topping:
     1/4   c            Sugar
   1       ts           Cinnamon
     1/2   c            Nuts -- chopped

  Mix together topping ingredients in small separate bowl and set
  aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, dry ingredients, milk, and
  extract. Pour half of the batter into small greased tube pan;
  sprinkle with half of the topping mixture and swirl this into
  batter. Add remaining batter and top with remaining topping. Bake
  45 minutes at 350°F.
