* Exported from MasterCook * Lisas Baked French Toast Recipe By : Lisa Lepsy Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:20 Categories : Breakfast Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 16 sl Raisin cinnamon bread -- stale 3 Eggs 2 Egg yolks 1 c Vanilla ice cream -- melted 1 ds Nutmeg 1 ds Cinnamon 1 1/2 c Maple syrup 1/2 c Pecans -- toasted Blend eggs, yolks and ice cream. Arrange 8 of the bread slices in buttered 9x13" baking dish. Pour half of the custard mixture over, add 2nd layer of bread, and pour remaining over all. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Bake @ 350°F for 10 minutes or until custard is set. Mix maple syrup with pecans. Warm on low and serve over toast. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
