                            Party Chicken Bake

   1      tb            Dry Italian salad dressing mix
   2      tb            Butter -- melted
   3                    Chicken breasts -- split
  10 3/4  oz            Can cream of mushroom soup --
                        - undiluted
   3      oz            Cream cheese -- softened
   1      tb            Chives -- chopped
     1/3  c             Sauterne wine
   1      c             Instant rice

Reserve 1/2 ts salad dressing mix. In large skillet combine butter
and dressing mix; add chicken and brown slowly until golden. Place in
9x13" baking dish. Blend soup, cream cheese, chives, and sauterne.
Spoon over chicken. Bake uncovered at 325°F for 1 hour. Baste with
sauce occasionally. Serve over rice which has been cooked in water to
which the reserved 1/2 ts salad dressing mix has been added.
