MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Make-Ahead Ham & Cheese Sliders Categories: Ham, Breads, Cheese, Vegetables Yield: 12 Servings 12 oz Pkg Hawaiian sweet rolls 1/2 c Horseradish sauce 3/4 lb Deli ham; sliced 6 sl Ementhal cheese; halved 1/2 c Butter; cubed 2 tb Onion; finely chopped 2 tb Brown sugar 1 tb Spicy brown mustard 2 ts Poppy seeds 1 1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce 1/4 ts Garlic powder Without separating the rolls, cut rolls in half horizontally. Arrange bottom halves of rolls in a greased 9x9" baking pan. Spread cut side of roll bottoms with horseradish sauce. Layer with ham and cheese; replace top half of the rolls. In a small skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over rolls. Refrigerate, covered, for several hours or overnight. Set oven @ 350°F/175°C. Remove rolls from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake, covered, 25 minutes. Bake, uncovered, until golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes longer.
