       Greetings 
       
       I am Rose and this is my first gopherhole ever and I am rather excited.
       
       I was made aware of Gopher last year during the pandemic and the insidious 
       lockdowns but I never got into making a gopherhole. I thought it was 
       too difficult. Apparently it is not the case. I want to use this space 
       to highlight all the strides retro computing and the small internet 
       communities are making in the largely noisy, bloated big tech world. 
       There is oodles of space for alternative technologies and I for one am
       a happy camper to return to the early internet of yesteryear.
       
       So, stay tuned as I start my journey in the original "decentralized" web, Gopher.
