When not at work, I've been spending my time almost completely 
offline and almost screenless. Instead i've spent much more time 
reading books (just for casual reading), and studying electronics 
a bit more.
 

I worked through this book "Complete electronics - Self teaching
guide" by Boysen an Kybett, and really enjoyed that. In the mean
time i've got my hands on a nice second hand oscilloscope; A 
tektronix TDS210 from the late 90's and a second hand function
generator.  

Being offline and screenless (apart from the scope screen, haha)
is quite alright. While this started as an experiment, i think 
i'll continue it for some more time. 

For screen time, actually the old computer i'm working on now
is quite nice. Its an entirely bare-bones debian install. It only
has tmux, nano and lynx on it. Nothing else. 

I'll keep popping in here from time to time. All the reading of
books has made me a bit inspired to write a bit more. And this
is the ideal little machine for it. However, i suppose this type
of writing will happen offline, if it happens. 

Hope all is well in the gopherverse. Of course it is; I'm sure 
gopher will still be around when we have flying cars and whatnot.
