-- 1154 UTC No, not dead. Haven't quit the town. Just been enjoying the spring weather. Getting outside, hiking, camping, kayaking, long walks, etc. Also, this past week was my city's Pride week, with Sunday as the capstone festival. Which was fantastic, and loads of fun. So, yeah. Online life is taking a backseat, which I think is healthy. One issue I do take with the Pride Festival here is the entrance cost. I know, it goes to support the community. I get that. The issue isn't that I have to pay to get in, but younger members of the LGBT community do. They are generally the ones dealing with the most, and also the most financially insolvent (Homeless, etc). There needs to be something done to allow them entrance into a festival which occurs once per year, and it possibly the only day of the year they can totally be themselves, without fear. brb, writing letter to the organizers.
