-- 1644 UTC Ok, this heat can blow me. Like seriously. This is worse than my time in Iraq, because it's so gorram humid. I lived in Texas for a time, and I was in Iraq for a year. I can take "heat". But not this, where it's 90 deg F, with a "Feels like 101". Sweat doesn't cool you off at all, like in Texas. Desert heat, you drink water, and you'll be fine. Not this. And, to boot, it's generally not like this, but I foresee these kinds of days becoming more and more frequent, with climate change and all. So, central air will become a thing in the next year or so. That being said, generally, this summer, I've been out, and doing things, so my writing has taken a back seat. Sorry folks, I know I promised weekly installments, but living life takes priority, and I only get three months of the year to actually enjoy all the outdoors stuff :) Doing a backpacking trip in August. Looking forward to that. Nothing too big, 22 miles of the Finger Lakes Trail, so ~3 days or so. That should be a blast, cannot wait!
