-- 1508 UTC So, the cms/wiki engine I put together is quite flexible it seems, and I'm rather proud of it. It's powering the thunix wiki (https://wiki.thunix.net), my personal sites (All of them right now, although hobbled in most, due to most tildes not using apache), and about to serve the thunix website. You can preview the thunix site at (https://dev.thunix.net). I figure if it can power a wiki and a website, should be pretty well done. Had some bugs, but they've been ironed out by and large. This is probably the nicest software I've ever written lol -- 1732 UTC Yep, finally decided. I'm going to start a tech services cooperative within the next 3 years. My main "stop" there is I have 1.5 kids that still depend on me. I figure that in 2 years, both kids will be out of HS, and technically, able to fend for themselves, with minimal support from the wife and I. So, we can be a bit more risky, rather than holding a job, only because the health insurance is great, and we need it for the kids. Sure, it still puts us at risk, but not our kids. The wife has been wanting to become a tattoo artist, so we'll talk about that. Maybe she should start the process now, as she originally wanted to wait until the kids were out of HS for it. Might be beneficial. But, she will need to sign off too. Because, well, she's put her life on hold, more or less since our oldest was born, so she is the one to get first dibs on "dramatically alerting work arrangements." But yeah. A tech coop :)
