The New MLP Series

"I'm  a  teen, why  the   heck   am  i  watching  kids       _.._
cartoon" This is what  I  thought  to  myself  when  I     .' .-'`
saw the  trailer  for  the  "Make  Your  Mark"  Series    /  /
premiering on Netflix  today,  Its questionable enough    |  |
why I'm rooting for it.                                   \  '.___.;

I grew up watching GEN 4 MLP, I was a little too late, I
maybe caught up later in my childhood years but its still a part of my
sweetest memories I suppose. There's nothing  wrong with liking a show
that housed your happiness as a kid.

But unfortunately, good shows  end, and  like  all  others, GEN 4: FIM 
ended with a bittersweet finale,  everyone  was  happy,  couldn't  say 
satisfied   as  there  were   headcanons  that  were  destroyed in the
process (one   being   where   appledash was canon and the other ships 
are just drowning to the bottom of the ocean).

And that brings us back here, me, a teenager who  reads  fanfics, plays
games, writes code and watches anime, watching a  show  targetted  to 6
year olds, isnt that weird? i mean i had let go of the  phase  multiple
times, but when you're waiting for another  show's  series  finale  and 
you dont have any delicious content  to  watch  since  most of them are 
either on hiatus, or probably not yet finished (in the case of anime).

In these situations,  sometimes  i  just need to find  a show  that can
waste my beautiful time, MLP seems to do  the  job  and  hearing  about
the new series, I checked it out, was fine, nothing unusual going on

But I reminded  myself  once  again, things  will  be  different, so  I
shouldn't  expect  a "Princess  Twilight  Sparkle  shows  up  to  guide
Sunny" trope there.

                         I might be wrong.
