## A trip to germany! as you may or may not have noticed, i went to germany for 6 whole days (from the 17th to the 23rd (yes i travelled right before the crowdstrike incident, very lucky i know))! :D one of my dad's old friends lived in Lubeck and gave us the idea of coming over here so we did just that. we actually had to stop at Gdansk and stayed in their airport for a cool 6 hours or so but after that we were headed to Hamburg! Polish Airport Monolith! way more chill than the ones in 2001 after being stuck at the Deutsche Bahn ticketing machine for a solid 10 minutes we bought a family ticket and got on the train to Lubeck, dad's sheer tiredness led him to a Doner restaurant near Lubeck's train station and that's where we met his friend, his current job was being a taxi driver and he does seem to love it, the amount of people he knew around the city was amusing to say the least. Their home was two joint apartments with the keys always being on the doors (security measures are very high indeed). we mostly occupied one of the apartments where his son and daughter's living room were present, as well as a living room (which we slept in). I was mostly around his son (which was an unexpectedly huge ishowspeed fan) and he seemed like a chill dude. His cousin also accompanied us for most of our ouside trips, the poor lad was deaf and semi-mute (as in he can only blurt out keywords that should give you a bottomline understanding of what he's talking about), really active and friendly guy, and a graduate in computer science! most of the trip was sightseeing around Lubeck, of which i took not a lot of pictures building at Lubeck's old town square, looking very medieval a guy was singing his heart out next to us shortest tower i've seen yet my dad and his friends (one of which moved over from his home all the way from Berlin to see him) went clubbing and having the time of their lives, i wasn't invited for obvious reasons did i mention dad's friend's son does basketball training? went to his workout place (which was going to shut down for four weeks afterwards) and watched him shoot a couple of hoops, wasn't very interested but i appreciated his efforts, he seems to love the sport overall, it was a very limited but fun trip, and i got to experience a little bit of germany, who doesn't want that? ;D
