Oop, I missed a day again. Hopefully this habit becomes more normal to me as I continue to do this. That said, happy to have town access from my phone now, so hopefully that helps me with that, even if I do despise these awful phone things. I wish so frequently that smart phones weren't uniquitous. Nobody truly needs this 24/7 connectivity. Sure it can be convenient, but convenience isn't always the healthiest thing for someone. Between phones, the gig economy, and the online supermarkets, theres way too much convenience in the world for little old me. I still enjoy shopping in stores, leaving my phone at home, etc. None of these things are truly necessary, and yet they are ubiquitous now. Food delivery apps are the only one I haven't either expulsed or minimized from my life, and I can't wait for the day when I finally expulse them for good. More power to those who can accept or enjoy these conveniences, but this world of capitalist, technological hedonism really isn't for me. To me, convenience can really be a burden sometimes.
