This is my first time writing here.

I have recently tried to start writing more which I have mostly done in a
personal text document. Maybe this is the outlet I will start to use.

I had a really good day at work today. I honestly didn't get very much work
done, but I spent a decent amount of time reflecting on my last 8 years at this
company. I reached out to my old managers and coworkers and got to reconnect
with them a little. Chatting with them was really wonderful.

I am proud of myself for how far I have come in these 8 years.

I got to hack away at some generative art tonight. I am so freaking new to
this stuff it is exciting. I am a musician at heart and have never found a way
to express myself visually. For a large portion of my life I never really
understood visual art. Over the past few years though I find myself enjoying
consuming visual art a lot.

I am no where near expressing myself visually yet though. But I sure am having
a blast with it.

I wanted to write about some substance abuse stuff I have been dealing with,
but I don't think I am ready to share. In time.
