no but really i am spending too much time getting used to all this
new stuff for me.

i keep questioning myself if I have  done a daily task or if i did
and forgot to  check it off on  the list i keep for  that. my mind
reels fixated  on how i can  build my gopherhole and  tilde stuff,
consuming all my downtime.

i need to  be easing myself into  new stuff, not try  to gobble it
all up in just a few days. i can learn about unix sockets later.

its not that i  feel like i am spendin my time  poorly, but that i
am spending  too much of it  and too soon. which  is definitely my
M.O. for things (the whole of Proust's Rememberance of Things Past
(all currently  unread) sitting  on my  bookshelf should  serve as
clear evidence).
