i am trying to get around to editing some poems tonight

but i am listening to black metal and drinking beer

and i am way too hype to deal with the poetry on the docket

i'm listening to Entropia's "Vacuum" and its too great

i have to use my laptop's soundcard since a recent power
surge blew out my DAC+rpi setup, but it seems to work fine.

heres the fun bit: the 1/4inch jack connected to my laptop
is a 15(?)ft cord that goes around my bed and into my stereo
receiver, which then pumps out through RCA another 15(?) feet
along the same path, to my headphone amp (Schiit Magni),
which drives my Sony MDRv6 headphones.

this setup is reasonable so i can have my computer in front of
a window, and my receiver connected to my tape deck and turntable
and still be able to listen to everything with my good headphones

but anyway

maybe i'll just have another beer and not worry about it...
