Created  and  installed  SSL  certificates  signed  by letsencrypt.org
  today.  I did it in manual mode which worked "okay".

  lighttpd is great for very simple setups. Problem  is,  I  want  IPv4,
  IPv6,  and  SSL.  Is  that  still  simple? My config is getting rather
  complex, to be honest.

  At the very least, I must take more time to improve my config file. Or
  maybe it's time to look at other webservers again.
