In  September,  I  ditched Apache and PHP, relaunched my web site, and
  switched to lighttpd as web server.

  As already mentioned on 2015-12-06, I  was  not  entirely  happy  with
  lighttpd.  Even  my  rather minimalistic web site is too complex for a
  neat lighttpd config file.

  lighttpd worked fine, only the config file was messy.

  So, I switched to nginx. Still, I'm not 100% satisfied, but it's a lot
  better.
