There's still this big task of archiving old data.

  At  the  moment,  I'm  creating backups of my original CDs. Games like
  GTA.  This is so painful. I can't tell if the disks are broken  or  if
  it's just a copy protection.

  I'm trying to do this using ddrescue and/or cdrdao.

  Some  disks  are  very old, so they are "hybrid" disks. They contain a
  data track and some audio tracks. Gah.
