I'm probably wrong about these as I can't find my > Courier docs, but sounds like it...but yeah, I've used AT&F1 for years too! As far as docs go, from a terminal screen, you can type at$? for the Command Quick Reference list.. on a Courier .. #$ is help with the # commands &$ help with percent commands... very handy list .. Years ago, Adam Strack told me a few things about the couriers he gave to use for the filegate project: Don't use &W (write to RAM) too many times, the # times you can write them -is- limited, but no one knows the number exactly ... and it's better not to set your modem up to factory defaults every time you init (AT&F) the modem as well. Use ATZ.. that resets to ATI4 which is what you want. This is a partial list of my ATI4 Screen.. I can either list the whole thing if you want me to, or send it to you.. didn't want to congest your echo too much : B0 C1 E1 F1 M0 Q0 V1 X7 BAUD=115200 PARITY=N WORDLEN=8 DIAL=HUNT ON HOOK TIMER &A3 &B1 &C1 &D2 &G0 &H1 &I0 &K3 &L0 &M4 &N0 &P0 &R2 &S0 &T5 &U0 &X0 &Y1 %N6 #CID=0 Only thing I believe I had to switch for BBBS was &Y1 above .. and some S registers I think.. possibly.... otherwise, this is the same way I had this Courier set for Binkley before I switched to Linux.
