Subj : response files To : all From : Richard Webb Date : Sat Aug 15 2009 11:16 pm Hello all! Need to pick the brains of you oldtimer binkley gurus on this subject. YEs I know about response file templates and the pktrsp config verb. AS I understand it, if you haven't specified pktrsp then a text file is built in the apporpriate outbound for the request which is net and node in hex with appropriate leading zeroes. I would assume this is even true when pktrsp is enabled, and the packet built from this file before sending and disconnecting from the requester. WOuld this be coorect? WHat I"m wanting to do. Build a function request which will then cause certain actions to be performed later, when not connected. But, I want to give the requester some feedback about the status of his/her request not provided for in the usual response file templates which will be determined by the batch file invoked. Am I assuming correctly here? Regards, Richard --- timEd 1.10.y2k+ * Origin: Radio REscue net operations BBS (1:116/901) .
