I guess I must be missing something here,  because I don't see where bink has 
anything to do with packet dates.  It doesn't create them,  at least not here.  
The only thing I have it doing is answer the phone,  transfer files back and 
forth,  and hand off to another package for dialing my uucp connection,  or to 
the bbs.  That,  and kick off the mail tossing process when there's some 
incoming.

Where does it deal with packet dates?
