Yes, I'm not even sure what all the Cloud storage place I use offers
since I use it in a very small way. I just have a couple of dozen
files on there for backup or transfer and I can get an address for
a specific file to send to someone else so they can directly download
just that one file from the site with no access to anything else, unless
I set up a Folder there that can be shared with all content available.
They also keep backups of files you update there, but only for a month
if you are not paying a fee to use the service. Paid users get a year.

Wow.. that's almost as long as I've been a user on BBS systems...  B)

I once set up a BBS of my own but my limited access to internet
made it impractical. It was more just to see if I could do it.
It looked good anyways since I used to design the screens for
some commercial BBS systems in the area, back when you had to
design them by hand.. No 'cheats' like The Draw or later MS Word.
I often Moderated the Tech conferences as well and that got me
access without having to pay a monthly fee for it..

Thinking back to the early 90's when BBS systems were the way to
go, I was often using 5 or 6 of them at the same time..

Yes, the huge places like Google and Microsoft make a lot of money
from getting ads to you and/or selling your personal info to whoever
will pay for it..
