Are the taxi plates made out of diamonds?

Sounds like that is a government money grab - sort of like trying to buy a 
liquir license in our state.  I wouldn't mind owning a liquor store - they 
never go out of business no matter what.  Nice steady retirement income for the 
future, too.

For all the beer I have bought in my lifetime, I should have stock in a store 
already.
