I can use 10 machines and login with 10 different IPs so you really want to do this by user name. You can do this writing a FTP-LOGON.WCC wcBASIC module that you can use to record your connections and IP's and/or user's on line. Do you have wcBASIC? Maybe someone can write it for you. -- On 3/17/04 8:30 AM, ARNAUD DE BONALD wrote to HECTOR SANTOS: > Hello Hector, > > A small feature that would be interesting for FTP connection > this would be to disallow several ftp connections from the same IP address at > the same time. > > You see, I get many persons who connect anonymously via ftp , but basically > they connect many many times because they use some kind of download manager > such as Getright etc. > > I would like to allow only 1 connection from the same IP address at a given > time. > > Maybe this is already implemented in Wins, I don't know after all...... > > Arnaud > > --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.1 * Origin: Prison Board BBS Mesquite Tx //telnet.RDFIG.NET www.
