I haven't seen the source for this, but as someone else mentioned, it shouldn't 
be too hard to recreate.  I've already done some similar things using REXX and 
Perl (for quick & dirty stuff), and should be able to throw something together 
in C.  What platform (operating system) are you looking for?

Also, can you email me the portion of the docs showing the command syntax, 
options, and return codes (along with any "enhancement" suggestions)? That way, 
if I do develop something it should be pretty much a "drop in" replacement.
