I think it won't be too hard, as there isn't much happening on the screen. No 
access to mouse, no graphics and so on. "Normal" code, file ops and so on are 
relatively good supported by fpk.

Nodelist access calls for a scripting langugage nowadays (imho of course :-). 
Ruby, Perl, Python or something like this...
