   Warm temperatures east and very wet across the continent with heavy
   showers and wider rain into the west on Wednesday.

   Tuesday
   A patchwork of cloud and sun for Portugal and western Spain.
   Increasingly showery for eastern Spain, heavy bursts by afternoon. Some
   showers forming for the Balearics, also Corsica and central/northern
   Italy. Drier with sun and scattered showers southern Italy and Sicily.
   Showers forming increasingly into slow-moving downpours for the Balkan
   countries southward to mainland Greece, also western parts of Bulgaria
   and Romania. Drier and sunnier near the Black Sea. Scattered showers
   for Türkiye.
   Sunny spells for western France. Areas of showery rain breaking out
   fairly widely for central France and Germany. Scattered showers for the
   Low Countries. Local showers for the Alps, greater risk for Austria and
   Slovenia. Risk of heavy periods of rain toward east and northern
   Poland. Drier in Belarus and Ukraine, feeling warm here.
   Showery rain around for Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. A good deal of dry
   weather for Scandinavia, local afternoon showers mainly for Norway.
   Drier but mostly cloudy for Finland. Slow moving showery rain slips
   east across the Baltic States with a brief heavy spell.

   Wednesday
   A fine, sunny day for Iberia. Sunny for the Balearics and Sardinia and
   Corsica, some showers around in the afternoon. Showers across Italy
   starting midday, heavy outbursts will be common. Showers will be quite
   persistent in the mountainous north. Heavy showers return across the
   Baltic States and western areas of Bulgaria and Romania, fading in the
   evening. Scattered showers in Greece and Türkiye.
   Widespread rain in central and north France. Strong onshore winds and
   feeling quite cool here. Rain with heavy spells in the Low Countries
   and Germany as well, feeling cool. Frequent showery rain across the
   Alps, Slovakia, and Hungary. Drier with only scattered showers in
   Czechia and Poland, plenty of sun spells. A band of showers across west
   Ukraine and Belarus and feeling warm.
   Outbreaks of showers in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Largely dry with
   sun spells in the Baltic States, some rain into Estonia later. Brief
   spells of showery rain across Finland.
