I ended up buying a Synology DS1522+ - a dual core Ryzen with 8gb instead of my atom with 2GB. I should be able to put my 5 5.25" drives into it and recreate the drive pool. Two thoughts - my office is quiet without the NAS running, I hope the new version is quieter!
