I don't know much about these drone sightings, but I did wonder if they
could be delivery drones, like delivering packages from one place to
another.

I think tenser's conclusion is the best though - it has to be aliens,
many many tiny aliens. To everyone else they look like drones but they
are really alien motherships preparing for an invasion.
