Assuming they get degrees that are in demand.  There are people who have
degrees, and college debt, who got degrees in fields that there are not
ever any high number of openings in, or that are only worth anything if you
plan to use then to get into grad school to become a teacher or lawyer or
such.

Otherwise, degrees in english, spanish, art, and history are rarely in high
demand.
