Really?  That's interesting.  Or did the HD ones simply have a black ring?

In any case, I never noticed that before or maybe I just don't remember.  I
don't have any 5.25 1.2M floppies around anymore because I have no systems that
use it.  And, the real problem with those disks, writing to a 360K disk in a
1.2M drive and vice versa was not always reliable.
