I live hundreds of miles away from my mom and I live my live and she's hers. She's getting closer to 70s and full of strength... and I still live my life when if I have time I call her and we see each other like 4 times a year.

But when I forget recently she's calling me asking if I still care she's alive. I get it as aging.. respond politely... but yeah.. time passes quickly and you never know when you miss one call you'll remember rest of your life.

your stories guys about parents passing away and memorials... just remind me I maybe should actually call more often, at least.
