I'm not really sure what to suggest, as I haven't had too many things come out dry & not good with my air fryer.. Not sure what I might be doing differently. But sometimes I think the recommended cooking times might be a little too long sometimes (though when cooking meats, you do still need to ensure you cook it enough to kill bacteria). Some foods have specific air fryer instructions, but some don't. Are you experiencing this when foods have specific air fryer instructions? Maybe try cooking it a few minutes less than recommended. Also, it seems to me that compared to using an oven, the temperature for the air fryer should be less than what you'd use with an oven.
