Nice! I did a single NaNoWriMo, but as a two-person writing thing to make it less intimidating. And it was neat to get the story written, though I never got past a few chapters in when trying to edit it afterward. I occasionally think about doing more with it. But your goals seem reasonable enough, and more importantly, the system you're aiming for seems good.
