I addressed that earlier, as it was of the quality of wishing people a Merry Christmas, and people don't pitch a fit over that.

In general, I think I've had a fairly-consistent thing on what I view as "no politics", and that's that if it's something personal, it's not political, even if it's something that's commonly political.

And if there are LGBT people here who are celebrating something, even if it annoys certain people, they should be able to celebrate it.

And the same with anyone celebrating Christmas, or Passover, or Talk Like a Pirate Day. Saying, "Happy Passover!" should not result in a rant.

If it's celebrating something inherently nasty (thinking of something along the lines of, "punch a (insert group) day"), then, well, that's not in keeping with the idea.

But if you have an idea of what the rule could be, that still allows LGBT or religious people to post things about their daily life, I'm all ears.

Sorry. Though I did phrase it as, "I don't want to think of you as an asshole", and I was aiming for, "I like many things about Arelor, but this is making me forget the things I like.".

Regardless of anything else, I would like to get back to the conversations that don't end up like this, and I appreciate your willingness.
