First thing to do is review the whatsnew.txt for updates that would have 
changed the code, like the way variables are handled and set. Other than
that my python2 line is:
Python2 Library /usr/lib/x86 64-linux-gnu/libpython2.7.so.1.0
So full path and names which did make a difference, it's what made python2 work on my A47 Ubuntu system.
