I was specifically looking for a client which would connect to The Bottomless
Abyss Meetups chat. Having used my razor sharp, ney, Holmes-like deductive 
skills, I figured StackFault would probably host said client via his files
section. Needless to say he does, and it was an absolute doddle to setup.

That said however, I am certainly interested in a more generic IRC solution;
I shall take a look at the URL you kindly provided.
