Subj : Mystic and Linux distros To : All From : ogg Date : Wed Dec 04 2024 08:19 pm To all sysops running on Linux, I'm going be to moving back from windows to Linux and would like ask for some of your help. I'm trying to decide what distro to move to. What distro are you running and what version? Were there any particular reasons for your choice? As to background, I originally started Altair IV on Ubuntu (version 18, I think.) The reason for moving to windows was both for dos doors and trying to get Python 2.7 and 3.+ working on the same machine. I'm now tired of Microsoft. Period. I'm most familiar with Debian based distros. I'm willing to look at others but not sure what others Mystic will run on. Knowing someone is actually using a particular distro would give me some confidence to try it. Mystic's origin line will give me what version of Mystic you're using and what operating system but not what Linux distro and version. That's what I'm after. Thanks for all your help. |11ogg |11SysOp, Altair IV BBS |11altairiv.ddns.net:2323 ....
